Fabio Michelucci
I am currently an Assistant Professor at CERGE-EI (as of September 2009). Prior to this appointment, I have been a Postdoctoral Scholar at the California Institute of Technology, sponsored by Prof. Jacob Goeree’s Dutch NSF Grant VICI 453.03.606 and a graduate student at University College London, under the supervision of Prof. Philippe Jehiel, where I obtained my Ph.D. in Economics in 2007. I have also been a Teaching Assistant at University College London and a Research Assistant (Assegnista di Ricerca) for Prof. Pierpaolo Battigalli at Bocconi University in Milan in 2006. My Research interests are: Economic Theory, Industrial Organization, Mechanism Design, Auction Theory, Experimental Economics. I am particularly interested in the issues of Efficiency and Information aggregation in Auctions (and in Markets more generally) and in the design and experimental test of more efficient mechanisms.
